Before you can use Gmail, Hotmail or AOL you need to add two extra files into the installation folder of the tournament planner.
You can download the zip file here. Extract the zip file:

Copy the files libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll into the tournament planner installation folder.
This can be inside the C:\ folder, Program Files, Visual Reality. Or when you use Windows 7 and Windows 8 (64 bit): C:\Program Files (x86)\Visual Reality\tp.

Gmail:
Open Tournament planner and go in the main menu to Extra -> Options  -> Internet:


 
Enter your full Gmail email address (username@gmail.com) in the From email address: field.
Enter smtp.gmail.com in the outgoing mail (SMTP): field.

Enter 587 in the Port: field.

Tick This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) and My server requires authentication.
Enter your full email address (including '@gmail.com') in the Account name: field. Enter your email password in the Password: field, and click OK.

After this please login on your gmail account https://mail.google.com/ and go to my account, or click here.


Click on Connected apps & sites


Set the "Access for less secure apps" to ON.

Hotmail:
Open Tournament planner and go in the main menu to Extra -> Options ->Internet:



Enter your full Hotmail email address (username@hotmail.com) in the From email address: field.
Enter smtp.live.com in the outgoing mail (SMTP): field.

Enter 25 in the Port: field (Port 25 is default).

Tick This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) and My server requires authentication.
Enter your full email address (including '@hotmail.com') in the Account Name: field. Enter your email password in the Password: field, and click OK.

AOLL (as example):
Open Tournament Planner and go in the main menu to Extra -> Options -> Internet:


Enter your full Hotmail email address (username@aol.com) in the From email address: field.
Enter smtp.aol.com in the outgoing mail (SMTP): field.

Enter 587 in the Port: field.

Tick This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) and My server requires authentication.
Enter your full email address (including '@aol.com') in the Account name: field. Enter your email password in the Password: field, and click OK.
